it’s been over a year

We’ve been tring to grow a human for over a year now.  I’m not sure I like where it’s heading.  So far, it’s not looking good.  I’ve charted, peed on tons of OPKs, had great timing and still nothing.  I’m 99% sure I ovulate regularly since all my charts show a definite upward thermal shift.  I do have instances of a short luteal phase.  It ranges from 8 – 12 days.  The man had an SA done a few months ago with OK results.  Morphology was 11%, which isn’t horrible, but not ideal. 

I’m thinking the next step is to see an RE.  They will probably have me do a bunch of bloodwork and get an HSG.  Sometimes just doing this test can clear out any cobwebs.  Hopefully they aren’t blocked.  If the tubes are clear, the next step would be getting on Clomid, (depending on what the bloodwork shows).  Maybe that will help give me a stronger ovulation and a bigger target for his darts. 

Until that route is decided upon, I’ll just keep on keeping on.  I’m unemployed right now, so getting fertility treatment probably isn’t the best decision.  If it happens before medical intervention, so be it.
